About
Patiento exists to make healthcare information easier for patients to access, manage, and show when it is needed most.
For many people living with chronic illness, complex care needs, or receiving care across different services, appointments can become repetitive and exhausting. Patients are often asked to explain the same history again and again, while trying to remember diagnoses, medicines, letters, and results across multiple providers.
Patiento is being developed to reduce that burden.
It gives patients one secure place to keep important health information, so they can access it more easily and show the right details during appointments, assessments, or moments of need.
Patiento is not designed to replace NHS systems or clinical records. It is designed to support patients alongside existing care, with privacy, clarity, and consent at its core.
Why Patiento was created
Patiento was shaped by lived experience and by a simple but important problem: too much responsibility is placed on patients and carers to hold together fragmented information during already difficult moments.
When someone is unwell, overwhelmed, or navigating ongoing care, they should not have to keep repeating their story from memory every time they meet a new professional.
Patiento was created in response to that gap — to help people keep important information organised, accessible, and easier to show when needed.
What Patiento’s here to do
Patiento is being built to help patients:
keep important medical information in one place
reduce the need to repeat the same history at every appointment
feel more prepared when meeting healthcare professionals
access key details more easily during stressful or time-sensitive situations
stay in control of what they choose to share
The aim is simple: make information easier to access, so care feels a little less fragmented and a little less exhausting.
How Patiento works
Patiento allows patients to store and organise important health information securely in the app.
This may include:
medical history
medicines
allergies
key documents and letters
emergency information
appointment-related information
During an appointment or assessment, the patient or carer can show the relevant information directly on their phone.
Sharing is intended to be consent-based and patient-led.
Privacy and trust
Privacy and trust are central to Patiento.
Health information is deeply personal, and Patiento is being developed with that in mind from the start. The goal is to create something that is secure, respectful, and easy to use, without asking patients to give up control of their information.
Patiento is taking a privacy-first approach to development, with clear attention to consent, data protection, and responsible handling of sensitive information.

Our stage
Patiento is currently at pilot stage.
The product is being developed and refined with a focus on real patient need, practical usability, and responsible foundations for future growth. Current work is focused on shaping the app in a way that is useful for patients, relevant for care settings, and appropriate for early-stage pilot use.
This stage is about learning, listening, and building carefully.
Looking ahead
Patiento’s long-term vision is to support better continuity for patients whose care is ongoing, complex, or spread across different settings.
The focus for now is simple:
build something genuinely useful, privacy-conscious, and easy to use for the people who need it most.
